About the Artist

Born and Raised in Pecos, Texas, JoMaureen Koko Darpolor was created to stand out. From an early age Koko knew that she was destined to be apart of the creative world of art and media. After watching the TV show That’s so Raven in the second grade, she fell in love with all things fashion. In the summer of 2014, Koko left her small town to pursue a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Art in Fashion Design at The Art Institute of California- San Diego.
 
After beginning her studies, she discovered her unique style that blended both her cultural influence of West Africa and her love for urban and bohemian wear. Being an individual who loves to explore it all, Koko also began to dive into other aspects of art, design, and marketing. 
 
JoMaureen Koko Darpolor graduated from The Art Institute of California- San Diego with a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Fashion Design in June 2017 and is currently pursuing her passion for design through various projects.
